With the holidays in full swing, I wanted to share some holiday looks with you all that are not only flattering, but also versatile. These velvet pants are perfect for the holidays, and can clearly be styled so many ways. In todays post, I’m sharing these Velvet Pants Styled five Ways. Aside from the fact that these velvet pants are incredibly comfortable, let’s talk about the tie waist. They instantly give my waistline a slimmer look, making them ultra flattering on all different body types.
Style 1:Simply Elegant
For this look I threw my hair up and wore a flattering embellished neckline blouse with gorgeous druzy earrings. This outfit is simple yet elegant, and will allow you to feel comfortable while also being perfectly holiday ready!
If you’re living somewhere with snow, make sure and pair this gorgeous look with an equally as beautiful coat. This coat is stunning on, and would look beautiful paired with this look.
Style 2: Layer it!
For this look I layered with a faux fur vest, and a tight mock neck long sleeve top. I love this look because it gives me the perfect warm and cozy holiday look, while maintaining a look of glamour and fun! That’s right, FUN! Add a little faux fur to give your look a playful flirty vibe.
Side Note- If you plan to layer with a fur vest (and your hair is long) try putting it up! It’ll not only make you feel a little more comfortable with the added fur around your neck, but will also show off your outfit a lot more!
Style 3: A classic Holiday Look
Doesn’t this look scream “holiday party!” I am in love with this gorgeous evergreen satin blouse for the holidays! Not only is the color absolutely gorgeous, but it also pairs perfectly with my velvet pants. The fabrics and textures are gorgeous together. The pleating on this blouse are so beautiful, make sure to wear your hair to the side to show it off!
Style 4: Throw a plaid blazer over it.
This look is not only great for work, but makes an awesome work party outfit as well. I love that this plaid boyfriend blazer gives this super glammed up look a more casual look. You can take it off for dancing and show off some gorgeous earrings later as well. Wear your hair down, or pinned to one side for a more elegant look. The possibilities are endless when you add a simple casual piece to an otherwise dressed up look. You could also try a faux leather moto jacket with some high heeled sock boots.
Style 5: Keep it Casual
Im all for wearing socially acceptable comfy pants out and about. It beats stiff jeans and tight fitting tops hands down. This comfy casual look with the velvet detailing is great for a holiday party deemed as “casual attire.” The sheen on this crazy soft chenille sweater also gives it a gorgeous holiday look you can even glam up with statement earrings and heels.
Surprise!!! Look 6!
Okay, remember how I said only 5 ways to style this outfit? Well, I lied. I found this photo from last year and just had to share. Add some ruffles to these gorgeous velvet pants to complete your holiday ready look. The green plaid print blouse (similar style) paired with the black velvet pants will give your look dimension and texture. Tie the look all together with some darling bow detail heels.
What do you look for when it comes to the perfect holiday outfit? Do you normally go for glitz and glamour? Or do you try to keep it a little more understated and elegant? Maybe even casual?
