I was able to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale yesterday, and you guys- It’s GOOD! I won’t say it was amazing, simply because I did see a lot of similar items from last year, but all in all I can’t complain because I am VERY happy with my purchases this year. I set a budget, I wrote down what I really wanted, and made decisions based on that. Im proud of myself. If you want to go into this sale with confidence that you won’t spend too much, I would highly suggest that y0u read this blog post. Below I am sharing a few of the items that I personally bought from the #NSale, and felt was good quality and a great price.
I chose a lot of really adorable neutrals this year. Simply because when it comes time to go through my closet, I always tend to keep neutrals over prints. This outfit is so simple yet beautiful to me. It’s the perfect example of “less is more.”
This cardigan is so soft and cozy. I am positive it will be one of the first to sell out, so I w0uld highly suggest grabbing yourself one before then. I paired it with this silky lace cami that sells out every year. In fact, I grabbed it in the animal print and black as well because I have a feeling it’ll be a go-to this fall/winter.
Another favorite of mine are these black high waist crop flare denim. Madewell is one of my favorite brands for denim, but make sure to size down one. These are super comfortable, the quality is great, and is something you’ll likely wear again and again.
Now, I tried to stick with neutrals, but I couldn’t pass up this darling stripe sweater. It fits TTS, and the quality (again) very good. They pair perfectly with these high waist denim. BTW this denim will likely sell out quickly once the sale goes live. They suck you in up top, and the wash is beautiful.
Lastly- This thermal blouse will likely be on repeat all fall/winter. Paired with some faux leather leggings and boots. I love that it’s flowy and longer in the back, so it hides your butt if you’re wanting to keep it casual with leggings. It is meant to be a loose fit, so order your regular size.
I knew I had to have this darling skirt the second I saw it on the catalog. Its great quality, and spins so beautifully when you twirl. Yes, I check these things! haha I thought it ran a little large, so I would maybe go down a size. Im wearing a small here for reference and the waist is a little looser than id like. I would prefer for it to accentuate my waist. I do plan to pair it with a belt though. 🙂
I found this darling slip dress within the Nordstrom Sale closed off section, BUT for some reason I could not find it online. There is a darling version thats included in the sale, so I made sure to link that. If you do want this particular dress, it is Row A brand. I found it within the BP section. Good Luck! (wearing a small for reference. Runs TTS.)
This sweater was also a favorite of mine. Looking back, I wish I would have also paired it with these high waisted Madewell Denim. How cute would that be?
I will be sharing more looks tomorrow once the sale is open to card holders! Stay Tuned!!
