Easter Tablescape and Sugar Cookie Recipe

Can you believe Easter is THIS WEEKEND! What?! If you are inviting friends/family over, this might be a post you’ll love to read! I’ve been using my Bunny Box from Holiday Co for a lot of my Easter Decor. You guys, it is WELL worth the price. There are so many adorable options that my kids have loved. Games, Easter egg hunt with the cutest message, cake decorating kit, little notes and candies, marbled egg kit, bunny banners, etc. In fact, we used our new Easter bunny cookie cutters to make these delicious sugar cookies (recipe below) and they turned out adorable!! Oh, and those two darling banners hanging abovee our table? Also from the Bunny Box. I’ve been very impressed with everything they’ve sent.

This year we are having friends over for Easter, and are planning a little Easter egg hunt. We are also planning on making bunny sugar cookies, with my famous sugar recipe! They never disappoint. Thick, delicious, and super easy to bake. It’s all in the ingredient, ladies! Sour cream and almond extract. I think any sugar recipe with these two ingredients are sure to be a huge hit! I set our formal dining room table with the cutest Easter details, and I love walking past it every day. Also, watching my kids sneak candies from our holiday bar cart. Little stinkers! 🙂

I found these Easter Bunny plates at Homegoods and had to have them! I was able to locate the exact ones on amazon for a steal as well, so if you want to buy yours before the big day; make sure to order today for prime shipping! Simple Bunny paper plates could work great too! Plus you won’t have to worry about washing dishes! Win, win!

I also layered each plate with blue gingham napkins, over my new blush pink plates with pearl trim from Arhaus c/o.

I also found this darling spring centerpiece from Homegoods, and GUESS WHAT! Found it online!! You can buy it HERE for only $35!!! I love how the pops of blush pink compliment the entire decor of the room and give it some gorgeous springlike color!

Now, for the best part! My famous sugar cookie recipe! I made a PDF for you all for the holidays, but felt it needed to be updated for spring! This way you can put it on your fridge, or in your cookbook to use whenever you’d like! Oh, and it’s totally FREE!!!

These sugar cookies turn out THICK, and soft, and oh so good! I’ve had several of you reach out and say they are the best you’ve ever had. That makes me so dang happy!! When there is something you can do to spend time with your kids, im all for it! That is why we love baking so much, and this recipe is great for just that! The dough is easy to make, and perfect for cookie cutting! It won’t stick to the counter like most recipes, and make the perfect little shapes!

I hope you all enjoyed todays post, and have the most wonderful Easter together with friends and family! Happy Spring!

Cookies are love. But even the lovelier are our old ones that make them for us.
